Our Best Rate Guarantee assures that you will always get the best rate available when you book directly with Zedwell.
Here’s how it works:
- To be eligible for the program, you must have a reservation booked directly via zedwellhotels.com.
- You must find a qualifying comparison rate and submit a completed Best Rate Guarantee form within 24 hours of booking the reservation through our website, and at least 24 hours before the standard check-in time at the applicable Zedwell hotel. The comparison rate must be for the same hotel, room, number of guests, same add-ons (e.g., luggage storage), reservation dates and cancellation policy on a non Zedwell Hotels website (“Comparison Rate”).
- If we approve your claim, we will match the Comparison Rate.
Submission & Zedwell Response Guidelines
To submit a claim, you must have booked a rate through our website zedwellhotels.com, and the relevant reservation must be associated with your claim information.
The name on the claim form must match the name on the confirmed Zedwell hotels website reservation, and only one claim per booking may be submitted per reservation.
To be eligible for the guarantee, when multiple rates for the same hotel, reservation dates, and room type are available through our website, you must reserve the lowest publicly available rate for that room type, with same inclusions and cancellation policy.
Zedwell Hotels approval of a claim may be invalidated by any changes, including name changes, made to the reservation after the Zedwell Hotels website approval. Such changes may result in a change in rate, cancellation of the reservation, and/or cancellation of any points or discount award.
Claims made against only a portion of your entire scheduled stay will not be honored. Multiple claims for a stay consisting of two or more nights in the same week at the same Zedwell hotel or Zedwell hotels in the same geographic location (e.g., city) may be treated as one claim for one stay, even if booked through more than one reservation.
Zedwell Hotels is not responsible for any fees or other costs incurred due to cancellation of a reservation.
Zedwell Hotels reserves the right to deny a claim, if it cannot independently verify the availability of a Comparison Rate at the time it processes the claim. Screen images of comparison offer will be used to assist with claim review procedures but will not be accepted as validation of a comparison offer.
Verification Process
Zedwell Hotels will verify that the Comparison Rate:
Is for the same hotel, same dates, same room, same number of guests, same inclusions (e.g., breakfast) and has same cancellation policy or refund policy.
Is not inclusive of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate.
Is available and accessible to book at time of verification on both the Comparison site and zedwellhotels.com.
Is publicly available.
Is more than 1% lower than Zedwell Hotels website. If a currency exchange is required, the difference must be at least 2% or more. Zedwell Hotels reserves the right to not honor rate disparities primarily attributable to fluctuations and/or differences in currency exchange rates.
The program only applies to rates found on Comparison Sites which meet the above criteria.
Examples of Comparison Rates that do not qualify:
- Zedwell Hotels rates found during later searches on zedwellhotels.com
- Rates that are not publicly available (such as negotiated corporate rates, or group rates or rates available through Zedwell & More membership)
- Rates that require specific residency, specific government issued IDs, or specific credit cards from a specific country or locality to view or book.
- Rates that have different rules such as cancellation or refund policies, or rates that include differing guaranteed custom room options.
- Rates that have coupons, vouchers, “cashback” or promo codes applied by the Comparison Site.
- Rates for claims against government funded tourism stimulus promotions.
- Rates on auction websites, on sites that do not disclose the hotel brand until the reservation is completed (i.e., Priceline and Hotwire).
- Package rates that include a combination of a room and other components such as airfare, cruise, car rental, entertainment, and non-breakfast meals
- Rates on sites that do not provide an immediate confirmation (e.g., an “on request” rate)
- Rates on sites that do not pass reservations to the Zedwell Hotels Central Reservation System (CRS) for confirmation.
- Rates that are negotiated for extended stays.
- Pre-paid, advance purchase, or non-refundable rates on Qunar, eLong, Meituan Travel, Ctrip/Trip.com, Ctrip/Trip.com affiliate sites, WeChat or Fliggy are not eligible.
